France also rejected US President Donald Trump's proposal to give asylum to Palestinians from Gaza in Jordan and Egypt.
The French Foreign Ministry says a forced eviction from Gaza would be unacceptable to the Palestinians.
A spokesperson for the French Foreign Ministry added that this would not only be a serious violation of international law but also a major obstacle to the two-state solution.
He also said that this move would cause instability for our close allies Egypt and Jordan
