The Met Gala 2025 transformed the iconic steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art into a stunning celebration of fashion, heritage, and cultural pride. This year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” honoured the legacy and innovation of Black sartorial expression with breathtaking visuals and powerful storytelling.
A spectacular 63,000-square-foot blue carpet set the stage, accented with golden daffodils, reflective floral installations, and cascading flower walls that shimmered under soft lighting. The museum itself was bathed in hues of royal blue and gold, turning the historic venue into a vibrant tribute to both elSustainability took center stage once again, as Kerala-based design house Neytt by Extraweave returned for the third year to provide the eco-friendly carpet. Crafted from biodegradable sisal fibers sourced from Madagascar, the carpet was not only a visual masterpiece but also a symbol of conscious creativity.egance and resilience.The night began with an energetic performance of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough,” setting an uplifting tone.
