Islamabad: China has said that the report in British newspaper Guardian about CPEC (China Pakistan Economic Corridor) is a complete lie.
The Chinese Embassy in Pakistan has rejected the British newspaper Guardian's report saying that the Chinese diplomat's statement on CPEC is completely false.
The embassy says the language and statements used in the Guardian report are clearly unreliable and lack a basic understanding of China's position.
The statement said the reporter violated professional ethics and violated basic respect for common sense.
The Guardian claimed in the report that China's Political Secretary Wang Xinjie in Islamabad accused the Pakistani government of making false statements regarding the CPEC projects.
According to the report, Shin Jie said that hatred against Chinese is spreading in Gwadar and Balochistan, if this security situation continues, it will stop the development. The Chinese Embassy said that China always supports the construction of Gwadar port and the development of Balochistan.
