What will the people of Balochistan get from Recodek project?

Pakistan is embarking on a journey of economic stability with Recodek project, this project will be an important milestone not only for the prosperity of the people of Balochistan but also for the development of the country.

 Mark Bristow, President and Chief Executive Officer of Barrick Gold Corporation, spoke to ARY News in an exclusive interview and elaborated on the importance and utility of the Rekodic project.

 The host of the program, Aniqa Nisar, asked that there is a common impression that people coming from foreign countries will earn wealth for themselves and take this asset away, the question is, what are you giving to the people of Balochistan? Are?

 

 Barrack CEO Mark Bristow said that there is no project like Recodec in Pakistan before, we have been working here since 2019. This project will create a new history in the mining sector.

 Regarding Balochistan, he said that the province will continue to get 25% share as per the agreement, apart from this they will continue to receive various taxes and royalties, we hope that this project will last for 100 years.

 Mark Bristow said that the people of Balochistan will begin to benefit from the fruits of this project very soon, we are going to start more new social welfare programs in the province.

 He said that they are considering further expanding the partnership with Recodec, in which Saudi Arabia will also be included.

 In response to a question, he said that 80 years ago 'Chile' was a country where the political and economic situation was extremely turbulent, today it is the largest copper producing country in the world.

 Mark Bristow said that the world's best design and engineers are working on the project. We are aiming to start our first production in 2028.

 CEO Barrick Gould said that our effort regarding the project is that all people are Pakistani. We want all the workers for the project to be Balochistan people. This is not possible unless you invest in people.
