Some time ago in Australia, a ban on the use of social media by children under the age of 16 was enacted, which will be implemented sometime this year.
Now Indonesia, the world's largest Muslim country by population, has decided to do the same.
Indonesia is planning to set an age limit for social media use to protect children from harmful online content, Bloomberg reports.
Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto told ministers that laws should be drawn up in one to two months to ensure the protection of children online.
