Worldwide condemnation of US President Trump's statement on occupation of Gaza
US President Donald Trump's declaration of occupation of the besieged Palestinian territory of Gaza has been condemned by Muslim countries, including China, Russia and European countries.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave a blunt stance on Trump's statement and said that without the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, Saudi Arabia will not establish relations with Israel, rejecting harming the legal rights of the Palestinian people.
The statement added that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman strongly and unwaveringly supports the Saudi position.
On US President Trump's statement about occupying Gaza, Iran says that Iran rejects any kind of expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza.
Jordan's King Abdullah has rejected attempts to annex the land and displace Palestinians, while Egypt has said it must move forward to restore Gaza without expelling Palestinians.
Hamas has also described Trump's statement as absurd and unreasonable, Hamas spokesman Khaled Qadoumi said that it will not accept Trump's interference and pressure.
