Netanyahu's gift to Trump of a golden pager, Trump's praise of pager blasts in Lebanon

Washington: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met US President Donald Trump at the White House yesterday, in which he gifted Trump two pager devices.
According to Israeli media, Netanyahu presented Donald Trump with a golden pager and an ordinary pager, a reference to the pager blasts against Hezbollah in Lebanon last year.
According to Israel's Channel 12, the US president, while reacting to the gift, praised the pager blasts and said "it was the best operation".
In return, Trump presented Netanyahu with a photo of his visit featuring Trump and Netanyahu, with the photo attribution stating "To a great leader Bibi (Netanyahu)".
It should be noted that on September 17, 2024, hundreds of pagers exploded in Lebanon, as a result of which 12 people were killed and thousands were injured.
