New Delhi: In the Indian city of Noida, the police detained a 9th grade student on the charge of threatening to blow up schools with bombs.

According to Indian media, the student had sent threatening emails to 4 schools stating the presence of a bomb in the school.

According to the police, the student had also used a VPN to hide his location.

According to Indian media, 40 schools in Delhi received similar threatening emails in December last year, while last month police arrested a Class 12 student who had sent threatening emails to at least 23 schools.

According to Indian media, the student who was arrested today had sent threatening emails to avoid going to school.

According to the police, the student decided to send such emails after seeing the chaos caused by such emails in the past and also resorted to YouTube to learn how to use VPN.
