An emergency Arab summit has been called in Egypt on the situation in Gaza
Cairo: An emergency Arab summit will be held on February 27, hosted by Egypt, on the situation in Gaza.
According to a foreign news agency, the statement of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the meeting was decided after high-level consultations with Arab countries, including Palestine.
On the other hand, Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati has left for America after the statements of American President Trump regarding the forced eviction of Palestinians from Gaza to Jordan and Egypt.
During his visit, the Egyptian Foreign Minister will meet with the US administration and members of the Senate.
According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the purpose of the visit is to further promote relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, while the regional situation will also be discussed during the visit.
It should be noted that President Trump announced the occupation of Gaza by the United States in the past few days.
