Trainline, Virgin Atlantic and RED Driving School investigated over 'drip pricing'
The consumer watchdog said they were trying to find out if the three companies were not showing full prices upfront to customers.
They are investigating whether Trainline, Virgin Atlantic and RED Driving School were using 'drip pricing' tactics.
Drip pricing is a practice where airlines or train operators charge different prices for different classes of service, with the intention of maximizing revenue. However, this can be misleading to customers who are not aware of the difference in prices.
