A new report from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reveals that real disposable income per person in Northern Ireland rose by 4.1% in 2024, the largest increase of any UK region.
The figures show that on average, real disposable income per person in the UK rose by 3.1%, with London having an average disposable income of more than £36,000 per head.
Within Northern Ireland, Lisburn and Castlereagh had the highest average disposable income at £24,515, while Derry and Strabane had the lowest at £20,375.
