Ukraine is ready to take the 'place' of which country?
Ukraine says it is ready to replace Hungary in the European Union and NATO. This statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on Wednesday, the language of which makes it clear that Ukraine and Hungary are suffering from serious tensions. Hungary has backed Moscow's narrative about the war in Ukraine and blocked efforts by Western institutions to bolster Kiev. Ukraine said Kyiv would be ready to fill any vacancies in the EU and NATO if Hungary chose to vacate it.
