'Get rid of expensive petrol, good news for car owners'
A good news has come for the car owners who are worried about the rising petrol prices in the country, a Chinese company has announced to set up an EV plant in Pakistan.
According to an international news agency, a Chinese electric car manufacturer has decided to set up an electric vehicle (EV) plant in Pakistan and showrooms in major cities of the country.
The delegation led by the company's assistant chairman Jiu Zhong announced this while meeting the vice president of FPCCI.
He further said that the use of electric cars will save a lot on the cost of petrol and will enable easy and cheap travel for the people.
He said that this is part of the long-term business plan, they are venturing into the Pakistani market and it is in the company's interest to set up a manufacturing unit and showrooms.
It should be noted that due to the strict conditions of the IMF, the prices of petroleum products in the country are increasing day by day, due to which the people of the country are suffering.
