Al-Qadir Trust Case: Order not to arrest Bushra Bibi, bail granted
Islamabad: Accountability Court granted bail to Chairman PTI's wife Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadri Trust case.
According to the details, the bail application of Chairman PTI's wife Bushra Bibi was heard in the accountability court of Islamabad in the Al-Qadir Trust case.
The court granted Bushra Bibi's bail for one lakh rupees and ordered her not to be arrested until September 26.
In the Toshakhana case, the Lahore High Court extended Bushra Bibi's interim bail till September 26. The court ordered that NAB cannot arrest Bushra Bibi until September 26.
On the other hand, a hearing was held in the Islamabad High Court on the petition against Bushra Bibi's audiotaping and harassment by the institutions in the Audilek case of Chairman PTI's wife Bushra Bibi and Zulfi Bukhari.
The court has combined the case with Najam-ul-Thaqib's plea which is already pending, Justice Babarstar remarked that he is noting your plea and will hear it with another similar case.
Justice Babarstar inquired what application you have filed Mr. Khosa, Barrister Latif Khosa said that our phones are being bugged continuously, to which Justice Babarstar said that it is happening to all of you, you have not challenged any order, call for the next hearing. Assist the court on the legality of the taping and the law of evidence.
Latif Khosa requested the court to stop the FIA from harassing him until the next hearing, on which Justice Babarstar said that he will pass an order that can be implemented, later the court adjourned the hearing of the case till September 18.
