Iran's Vice President Javad Zarif has resigned
According to the Iranian official media, the resignation of Vice President Javad Zarif has been received by President Masoud Al-Makhkiyan, but no decision has been made regarding his resignation. After resigning from the post of Vice President, Javad Zarif said, "I and my family have faced severe accusations, threats and insults. The head of the judiciary advised me to resign, which I did." It should be noted that Mohammad Javad Zarif has previously served as Foreign Minister in Hassan Rouhani's government (2013-2021) and played an important role in Iran's nuclear deal with world powers.
