Tariff War: China has announced an additional 15 percent tariff in response to the US
According to foreign media, China will impose new additional duties on US agricultural imports in response to the increase in tariffs by the US.
According to the Chinese Ministry of Finance, an additional tax of 15 percent will be imposed on poultry, wheat, corn and cotton imported from the United States.
According to Chinese officials, an additional 10 percent tariff will be imposed on sorghum, soybeans, beef, aquatic products, fruits, vegetables and dairy products, while the tariff will be implemented from March 10.
It should be noted that this move has come in response to US President Donald Trump's increase of the 10 percent tariff on China to 20 percent.
China's Ministry of Finance has condemned the US actions, calling them unilateral.
