ISLAMABAD: World Bank Country Director in Pakistan Naji Benhasin has said that economic stability in Pakistan is getting stronger, funding of at least 20 billion dollars has been allocated for Pakistan in the next 10 years. In his statement, the country director of the World Bank said that this economic stability is the right time for the ten-year agreement, which will focus on giving Pakistan $20 billion in development loans. He said the Country Partnership Framework with Pakistan was announced last month, from the year 2026, this funding will be given for clean energy and climate resilience. Naji Benhasin said that this is an important moment for the partnership between the World Bank and Pakistan. At this time, Pakistan is moving towards stability. Pakistan has new goals and plans for long-term development, which are in line with the priorities of the World Bank. He said that under this project, it will be possible to provide at least 2 billion dollars annually in Pakistan, funding will be available from the World Bank for poverty reduction, social security, environmental impact reduction projects during the next 10 years.
