The United States and Russia agreed to appoint negotiating teams to end the war in Ukraine.
A high-level meeting between the US and Russia was held in Riyadh, the Saudi capital. US Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said that the Russian delegation has agreed on 4 points of principle, but the European Union will also need to be involved in several points.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that he told the US that the expansion of NATO is a direct threat to Russia, but the US has opened all diplomatic missions to Russia.
