In India, a matriculation student committed suicide after her family did not allow her to use a mobile phone.
According to Indian media, this incident took place in the city of Bengaluru, where 15-year-old Avantika Chorisa, a 10th grade student, jumped from the 20th floor after her family did not allow her to use her mobile phone.

According to reports, Avantika was studying in a private school, annual exams were looming and she was getting low marks in her studies, instead of focusing on her studies, she was spending more time on her mobile phone which her mother did not like.
The mother urged the daughter to reduce the use of the phone which Avantika did not bat an eye and in a fit of rage she committed suicide by jumping from the 20th floor of the apartment.
