Israel accepted the US proposal to extend the Gaza ceasefire
Tel Aviv: Israel accepted the US proposal for a temporary extension of the Gaza ceasefire deal.
A statement issued by Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's office said that the extension of the ceasefire during the Jewish festival between Ramadan and mid-April has been approved.
According to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, on the first day of the ceasefire, half of the hostages, alive or dead, will be handed over to Israel.
There has been no response from Hamas or the mediators of the ceasefire agreement in response to the announcement by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office.
It should be noted that the first phase of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas was completed yesterday.
