Bangkok: A double-decker bus lost control and crashed into a tree in Thailand, killing 18 people. According to foreign media, the bus that was involved in the accident was traveling from Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, to Songkhla province. There were 49 people on board the bus, of whom 18 died while more than 30 were injured and taken to the hospital. According to foreign media, the bus was severely damaged in the accident and its front end was split into two parts. According to authorities, the causes of the incident are not yet known and an investigation is underway.
