Hamas has rejected a first-phase extension with Israeli proposals, while negotiations for a second phase in Cairo are still inconclusive. The Israeli delegation returned after meeting with American, Qatari and Egyptian mediators in Cairo.
The head of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has demanded the parties to continue the agreement.
