UAE has issued golden visas to more than 16,000 people in the education sector
According to the details, the UAE government has issued golden visas to those who have shown outstanding performance in the field of education.
The Golden Visa is a 10-year residence permit awarded to outstanding performers.
Emirati Golden Visa recipients include 10,710 high school toppers who scored more than 95 percent marks in their exams.
The government has issued golden visas to 5,246 eminent university graduates while 337 academicians have also been given golden visas.
According to officials, 147 graduates of globally recognized universities and 16 eminent scientists have also been given golden visas.
Immigration officials in Abu Dhabi say that the golden visa program aims to provide permanent residency to global talent in the UAE so that golden visa holders can play an important role in the development of the education sector.
