An audio of a migrant boat crash in Greece in 2023 has raised questions.
On June 14, 2023, more than 650 migrants died when a boat sank in Greek waters.
According to British broadcaster Lake Audio, Greek authorities instructed the boat's captain to tell the rescue ship that the migrants wanted to go to Italy, not Greece.
In another call 90 minutes later, the Greek officer told the captain of the rescue ship to write in his logbook that the refugees did not want to go to Greece.
