As a result of a knife attack in the Israeli city of Haifa, one person was killed and 4 injured
According to foreign news agencies, it was the first deadly attack in Israeli territory since the Gaza ceasefire in January.
This incident occurred at a time when Israel stopped the delivery of aid to the Gaza Strip a day ago, after which doubts have arisen regarding the extension of the ceasefire in Gaza.
Today's attack took place at a bus and train station in Haifa, a city where Jewish and Arab populations live together.
According to Israel's Emergency Rescue Service, a 70-year-old man died on the spot after the attack, while four others were injured.
According to the news agency, the police called it a "terrorist" attack and said that the assailant had been killed. Authorities identified the assailant as a member of Israel's Druze Arab minority.
It should be noted that yesterday Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the Israeli army to prepare for the defense of the Druze population in Syria.
