"The visa ban in the United Arab Emirates is over"
Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has lifted the visa ban imposed on Nigerians.
According to the report of a foreign news agency, Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Special Adviser Ajuri Gilale said that the President met with Emirati President Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi.
The adviser said that in this meeting, the two leaders signed an agreement to end the decision to ban Nigerian citizens from traveling to the Emirates.
It should be noted that in October last year, the Emirati authorities imposed a visa ban on Nigerian citizens without any reason, while Etihad and Emirates Airlines have also stopped flights due to non-payment of dues to Nigeria.
