India's first "Solar City" has been established
To get rid of expensive electricity in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India's first solar city has been established in place of the world heritage site 'Sanchi'.
In this context, the Indian media says that Sanchi, a world cultural heritage located in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, has been made the first solar city in India which will generate 3 megawatts of electricity. Formally inaugurated.
The report of the international news agency revealed that the annual reduction of 13,747 tons of carbon dioxide emissions from this solar city is equivalent to more than 238,000 trees.
According to a report, this program will save annual electricity costs of 7.68 crores in Sanchi.
Speaking about this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that coal and other resources are used to generate electricity, which has a negative impact on the environment which will be reduced by Solar City.
