50 joint agreements between Saudi Arabia and India
During the presence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in New Delhi, the officials of the two countries have signed several joint agreements and understandings for bilateral cooperation.
According to the report of the international news organization, after the end of the G20 summit, an official reception ceremony was held for the Saudi Crown Prince in New Delhi.
According to the report, in the presence of Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, at least 50 bilateral cooperation agreements and understandings were signed between the officials of the two countries.
These include agreements to enhance bilateral cooperation in energy, petrochemical, renewable energy, agriculture and industry as well as social and cultural sectors.
Apart from this, there are several agreements between the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia and the National Agency for Investment Promotion and Facilitation of India.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India issued a statement in this regard, in which it was said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi have attended the first meeting of the Saudi-India Strategic Partnership Council with their respective delegations.
The agenda of the meeting included a wide range of bilateral cooperation including health care, food security, culture and social welfare issues, energy security, trade and investment, defense and security.
The Saudi Minister of Energy said in his statement that Saudi Arabia is an effective member of many international organizations and programs, Saudi Arabia has reached the 16th place from 18th in terms of gross national production in the G20. The way it has progressed is something to be proud of.
The Minister of Energy said that Saudi Arabia's goal is to join the world's fifteen largest economies by 2030. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said, "This progress shows that the development journey in Saudi Arabia is going in the right direction."
