Rump plan rejected, Arab countries support Egypt's plan to rebuild Gaza
On Tuesday, an extraordinary meeting of the Arab countries was held in Cairo, in which the head of the United Nations, the European Union president and the secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, Syria and other Arab countries participated.
The meeting discussed the reconstruction of Gaza and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
On this occasion, Egypt rejected Trump's proposal and announced a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza that would respect the rights of the Palestinians and keep them on their land.
Egypt's proposed $53 billion 5-year plan for Gaza includes millions of homes, a commercial port and an airport.
