The Chief Minister of Delhi started collecting donations from the public to contest the next election
The Chief Minister of the Indian state of Delhi, Itishi Marlina, has started funding to contest the next election.
According to Indian media, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi Marlina has started a crowdfunding campaign to fight the state elections in February and the expenses involved in it, in which she has appealed to people to donate.
Itishi Marlina has so far received donations of 1.856 thousand Indian rupees from 422 donors while she has set a target of collecting 40 lakhs to contest the elections.

In this regard Atishi Marlina said that people have given money to support the honest politics of Aam Aadmi Party, we are not taking money from big capitalists for elections, we are working for Aam Aadmi Party.
After the completion of the government's term in the Indian state of Delhi, voting for the state elections will be held on February 5, while the results will be announced on February 8.
It should be noted that last year Aam Aadmi Party chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the Chief Ministership after being released from jail and elected Atishi Marlina as the Chief Minister in his place.
